Fuggeddaboudit -- as in, forget your other dinner plans and just head on over to Roll N Roaster. A neighborhood staple for over half a century, this South-Brooklyn institution has won over the hearts of many native Brooklynites, and it's not hard to see why. Want to be transported back to simpler times with quasi-1950s diner aeshetic? Craving cheez wit any and everything? In the mood for some of the best fast roast-beef sammiches in NY? Feeling fancy and want to pop a bottle of Moet? Roll-N-Roaster has it all, truly. What to get? In order of descending yums: -Orangeade. You read that right, orangeADE, not orange juice. You'll thank me later. -Roast Beef n cheez. Don't question it, just do it. -Onion rings. Holy canoli, these are so crispy and tasty. -Chicken tenders. Crispy and real white breast meat. -Cheezburger Meh: -Fries -- they're wavy and look like pickle chips. On their own, they're kinda meh, but cheez makes it slightly better. -Corn fritters If you needed any other reason to come here, the service is incredibly quick and they're super friendly. Just be careful with the clientele...Southern Brooklyn has that... hard Brooklyn charm.

Food is 7/10 service is nice and quick , ambiance is as it was back in the day ( expect nothing more nothing by less) it's a great neighborhood joint that has delicious lemonade and orangeaid. Cheese fries corn fritters wings and more. I order here once in awhile after work

Great service, great food, & plenty of seating. Roll n roaster is a cheesy and delicious fast food style restaurant. My personal favorites is the cheeseburger, chicken fingers, corn fritters, & fresh brewed iced tea. If you spend a certain amount of money (I don't remember how much), you get a free pizza!!! This place is very big inside as well so there is plenty of seating for people. There is a parking lot as well and street parking. If you love fast food and obviously cheese I definitely recommend this place. Roll n roaster is known for their roast beef and cheese sandwich, but I don't like roast beef, but my friends say it's amazing!!! Also, for your birthday the staff allows you to spin a wheel to win a prize!!! If you're in Brooklyn, it'll be worth it to stop at roll n roaster!

First timer though I have known about Roll-N-Roaster for years. I spontaneously decided to check out Roll-N-Roaster tonight (March 16) and have no regrets. I came for one menu item and one menu item only -- the corn fritters. Based on the photos, the corn fritters looked identical to the corn fritters I remembered eating as a kid at Goodness Steak Restaurant on the Junction. And one bite tonight filled me with so much nostalgia. The corn fritters oozed with cream corn and it's so, so good. The four star rating is solely for the corn fritters I also ordered fries, which weren't anything special and needed salt. I'd skip and that says a lot because I LOVE fries. The onion rings are nicely crisped and would substitute the fries with this. Nothing fancy and very much feels like you've walked into a time machine but that gives RnR its charm. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of seating. There is a small parking lot that has a one hour time limit.

This is Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn establishment has been in existence for 53 years, they do things right. As a kid growing up in the 80s the 4 AM commercial that I used to see is now a restaurant that I frequent in the 2020's. My experience has always been positive with their roast beef with cheez, roast beef is always rare and has a great flavor. As also had a good experience with the shrimp cup, sweet potato fries. It's definitely a fast food icon but it's not so fast just like their ad says way back in the 80s. They call your number and you pick it up. Ask for condiments at the counter the pump disappeared for safety. Parking is tight but I always seen to get a spot off season, different in the summer. Glad we live nearby to enjoy this timeless Brooklyn spot.

Came here on a weekday afternoon. There was a line with a few people but it moved pretty quick. The service was great. It's a casual restaurant. You order then sit wherever you want. Now onto the food. I love the roast beef and cheese sandwich! It's sooo good! The roll is amazing! So soft and fresh and pairs perfectly with the roast beef! The fried foods here are great too! Love the chicken wings! So perfectly seasoned and so crispy! You also get a free pizza when you order 45$ or more! My kids love this because it's so thin! Another bonus is there is a parking lot! Not a huge one, but better than none! There's also street parking! Will def be back! Thanks!!

Last night (11/24/23) around 8:15 PM. They were slammed, but the orders came out quickly. The staff is always nice and double checks your order to ensure you get exactly what you want. I'm leaving another review because I had quite possibly the best roast beef I have ever ordered from Roll N Roaster. Order details, RAP (as rare as possible), gravy and cheez. The beef was perfectly pink, warm and flavorful. It's unfortunate that my pic will not due this sandwich justice, but if you're reading this go get one.

A Brooklyn staple! I have been going here since I was a kid. Everything you try here is delicious and prices are great. We spent $65 for dinner (there were 4 of us and we over indulged...) the cashier told us we got a free pizza for spending over $40! The pizza was good and cheesy, super thin crust. A nice touch. You obviously can't skip the cheese fries (and yes the OG fries are back). We got the cheese whiz roast beef and it was good. I wish i remembered to put onions in it. The corn fritters are always delicious. A little touch of sweetness to them. Wings are fried great and come with two sauces.

I hit up Brennan and Carr and Roll N Roaster on the same day to compare their roast beef sandwiches. I had a better dining experience at B&C, though I do think RNR has a slightly better sandwich. Both are Brooklyn institutions worth checking out. Came on a Sunday afternoon and tried the roast beef (medium) and pan dripped gravy, pickles, and fries. Everything was amazing, though I would skip the gravy next time. This place is like an Arby's on crack. They've also got a parking lot!

Loved this retro spot! Roll-N-Roaster is so cool. It's like stepping back in time. Nothing has changed, and I hope it stays that way. Prices are cheap, everything tastes good, and it's all about the vibes and nostalgia. They're best known for their roast beef sandwiches, orangeade, and cottage fries. We tried all these things! The roast beef with grilled onion is great. I'm not a huge fan of liquid cheese, but getting this on the side along with some gravy for dipping is the move. I chose lemonade instead of orangeade, but it was so good I had no regrets. You can get a bottle of Moët for $59, a glass of wine for $4.95, or a beer for $2.95. Come hungry and enjoy the retro atmosphere!
